Last nite for the 1st time,i had 1024x768 resolution,for about 4 mins.
I was ecstatic,then it reverted back.
There's something wrong,i'll be damned if i know what.
Any suggestions anyone?

Hi. You forgot to fill the Display in your sig, m8.
There is no reason to your graphic card not display 1024x768 or more.
Acording to http://ati.amd.com/products/radeonhd2400/specs.html :

So, unless your display monitor cant go that further (wich i doubt) something must be wrong there, please give it in details (error messages, bsods, etc).
