Windows 7: S-Video Out

S-Video Out

I have a dell inspiron with a broken screen hooked up to a tv via s video but now with windows 7 the screen is not detected. Any advice?

First we need your system specs

Second its probably a driver but we need a lot more info

Hi, welcome to the forums.

Normally there is a button on the keyboard (FN+function key) that switches the laptop from built-in to external view.

Also, if you boot the lappy then press WIN+P then left then enter that will force it to start using the connected S-Video output (hopefully)
