Have two ATI cards, but crossfire is disabled.

I have no experience with crossfire, is it possible that the bridge is upside down?
And why is the GPU clock on card #1 higher?

No. The bridge supplemented that method (Thank God), that was only for the X1800/1900. There is no more "master" or "slave".

Crossfire Disabled: Need help!

I don't understand what the CrossFire mode part of that statement means. Is there a switch or a particular jumper setup that I need to enable in order to run crosssfire? There's absolutely nothing on google about it, I'm surprised if anyone else with my same mobo was able to get crossfire to work.

Conclusion
One of the last posts in my old thread included a link from smarteyeball to the P965-S jumper settings. Sadly the link is now dead, and I have no way of figuring out the correct jumper settings to achieve the x16/x4 to allow both cards to run. I guess I'll have to buy a new mobo, it's time to upgrade anyway. Sigh, having two cards but not being able to utilize both is a real let down.

Actually... with a little more digging I found the manual hidden DEEP in the recesses of google. But there's still no info on crossfire other than telling me how to install the cards themselves. Nothing about enabling a 'crossfire mode' or anything. I guess I'm doing it wrong, this is so frustrating.

Looking at the manual the only thing you need to do with the jumpers,



is to make sure they are set right so that the second x16 slot is set to run on x4 mode. If you never changed them then they shold be in the default configuration of x1 only.

Also did you remember to connect the floppy power connector to the motherboard near the PCI-E slots?

I will check on both of those things right now. Maybe this is it!!

That's good news, glad you are sorted, check to see if you have the latest CCC because my one is like this, and is different to your one as in the pics.

I have the same problem but managed to solve it.
Motherboard: Asus X99-a/USB3.1
Video cards: 2 x AMD R9 Nano
Processor: Xeon E5 v3 with 40 PCIE lanes
PSU: Enermax 1500W

At first I have exactly the same symptoms - No crossfire option, second card Disabled.

Tried the following: Swapping cards, installing one then the other, using 3 different drivers - latest, Beta and one old driver found in TechPowerUp's article which benchmarked a pair of R9 Nanos in CrossFire.

Then as last option, I loaded Optimized Defaults on my motherboard, (of course first saving all my settings including overclocks in a profile). Then viola CrossFire worked like a charm, benchmarked was great. I put back the latest driver AMD 16.10.3 and that worked too.

So I began a hunt on which motherboard setting it was that caused CrossFire to fail. It wasn't the overclocking. It was "Above 4G Decoding". Disabling this will enable CrossFire.
Don't believe me, give it a try!
