Hi yesterday I've noticed after restarting my computer that my DirectX has been messing up, I reinstalled all of the versions I could find and yet my games like SBKX or WoW won't start because it says "Unable to start up 3D acceleration. Please make sure DirectX 9.0c is installed and your video drivers are up-to-date" So yesterday I opened DriverSweeper 3.0 and cleaned my Nvidia Display drivers and then reinstall the 275.33 drivers again and everything worked. Now today I boot up my computer only to find out I'm getting that same error again.. I've never had this problem till yesterday which I think is because Windows won't install the Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4 and any C++ VCREDIST since I get a error saying "Error 1402 Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\6EC3DF47D8A2C9E00AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\27B4B248F8E926943B1CC124A2C54443. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel." now I only get that when I try to install vcredist myself but Windows says the update fails whenever they try to do it. Also I have this orange shield next to my shutdown button that never seems to update anything... Is there anything I can do to try and repair Windows? Seems like no one can fix this.
