I have a nvidia gtx 460. Is it safe when a games uses 98% gpu usage and you are not overclocking but using stantard stock clock settings. Will this damage video card.

I have rise of flight pc game set to high in all settings and fps limiter set to unlimited. The game Indicates that 98% of gpu is used . Should I lower settings

GPU cards are tested under 100% load to be stable for an extended period of time. As long as they do not overheat and are not overclocked too high (to become to unstable) on paper the card will run under full load forever. I've run games for hours with my cards under near to full load and nothing happened to them. Heat is their biggest enemy and as long as that's taken care of, the majoirty of your problems will be solved.
