Would I notice much performance boost if I were to crossfire an xfx ati radeo hd5850 and a Sapphire HD 5850 Xtreme is this possible and what performance boost could be expected many thanks!!

In theory 50%...in practice +50% to 0% depending on how well the game can scale between two cards....
