    Time marches on...Windows 7 expects a level of communication from the monitor....for example I never told Windows 7 what my monitor is, or loaded any monitor drivers, yet it knows it's a HannsG 1680X1050 recommended resolution....I don't know of any way to keep the games from changing the resolution, and since the monitor is "too proud to speak" it lets the games do their own thing.....as stated earlier if all the system is a emulator I would load basic XP, kill auto updates, and go with what works......

    BTW, did you go full out with the system?
