problem with ATI Catalyst Control Center

Hi guys. I installed CCC recently. When I restarted my computer it started becoming unresponsive and locked up alot. Is there any way I can fix it?

Thanks again.

1. Make sure you have the correct driver for your card.
2. Uninstall using DriverSweeper, reboot in safe mode and run CCleaner.
3. Reinstall drivers.

I've had the same problems in the past. Reinstalling drivers usually does the trick.

Good luck.

I may just be lazy but I would simply get a fresh copy or the right drivers and remove the old ones in device manager and then immediately install the new one and restart.

You can usually get away with a lot reinstalling CCC.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I'm just wondering now if I could install JUST the driver and not CCC.

AFAIK you can. However, you will NOT be able to change settings.

How would I go about doing that though?

If I remember correctly, you choose "custom" installation and select/deselect the options you want.

I haven't used ATI over a year now so apologies for a "vague" response.

Good luck.
