    Hey guys.
On both cat 9.1 and 9.2 "gpu scaling" option is not available for me. i.e., it doesn't work. Image always gets scaled using centered timings. I'm using win7 7000 x64. Does anybody else experience the same woes?

    You're welcome Shawn,

And thanks for posting the details, especially this one:

The display driver no longer fails to load on some systems with more than 8 GB of system RAM
As I had a problem the other day with this. I had installed 8GB and the drivers would not work with more than 4GB installed. I got it work though but maybe this will resolve the problem anyways.

Ugh, it didn't fix the problem I was referring to. Had to take out all the memory, install 4GB, install 9.2, install another 2GB up to 6, then install the last 2GB. Several attempts but I got it to work.

It upped my WEI a few points though.

Do 9.2 Vista drivers work with Windows 7 32bit version?

I am using windows update wdm 1.1 drivers, how would I install 9.2 if they do work?

    Hello Hybridfan,

You can just run the downloaded installation file to install the 9.2 drivers. If they do not work out for you, then you can rollback the driver back to 9.1.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

thanks, was back at the beginning when you mailed, I've already down loaded and it didn't take, I may take out some of the ram and see if its more forgiving. Slapped this box up just for w7, I guess I'll have to wait on another update, still running into the same problem. multi screen display, new vid card,

    Wkancyr,

You might see if switching the monitor connections on the card may help any.

tried all the basics, as I said this computer has two raids, one for wxp 64 and one for w7,( I took out vista ult )the other program work fine, with the multi screen although wxp doesn't read all the memory, the sapphire set up disc has the vid doing all I need. I think its an old dog problem. Looking for all the help I can get. Appreciate anything and everything. Hope its not something really stupid.
