Thanks, I was hoping it would come out today. Even thought they don't have 5700's listed. :/

x1900 series owners, please confirm which version is working well in Win7.

Also, what's the benefit of CCC as opposed to the display drivers alone?
I'm using an X1600 -- which is the same generation as the X1900, and as far as I can tell, the so-called 9.8 "legacy" drivers recently released are the same as the earlier 9.3 legacy drivers. So, either should work equally well, and nothing else newer than 9.3 will work with your card.

The advantages are that CCC allows you to set 3D attributes that affect display effects.
Does the CCC work well for you?
Some options don't work for me. I have a laptop with an external monitor attached. I can't configure my displays: if I select this option I'll go back to the "home" screen of CCC. I also would like to enable/disable my notebook display or external monitor so I can switch between the screens with the right settings (resolution etc.) That does'nt work.
I also can't find GPU scaling, when I play a game at 1280x800 (1680x1050 is native for my external monitor) the view is incorrectly.

Everything of CCC v.9.3 worked well in Windows XP. It should be a shame if just need to turn back to Windows XP because of the crappy CCC support in Windows 7/legacy

You should try the 9.8 legacy drivers. I was wrong in my assumption about them being the same as the 9.3 legacy drivers. They have apparently corrected some critical problems in the 9.3 drivers.

So, if you're having problems with the 9.3 legacy, it would be worth installing the 9.8 legacy in their place.

Screen turns blank for hours, literally, during intall

I installed the latest drivers for my Sapphire HD2400XT graphics card (drivers from ATI on 22 Oct 09) in Vista before I began my upgrade. But Windows 7 does not seem to be able to complete the install: screen turns blank, even overnight (or for the rest of the night). Nothing.

I reinstalled the legacy drivers + CCC. Now I have the old UI, apparently I installed a newer version of CCC while I was testing multiple version.

But, still I can't manage my display in the CCC and use GPU scaling?

Im having a little trouble getting 9.10 on my win 7.
The moment i uninstall the old 9.7 driver in device manager, which win 7 installed by default, i reboot, win 7 instantly installs 9.7 again, even before i could use Driver sweeper.

What do you guys advice? Don't uninstall the old 9.7 and install the new over it?
