You are better off using the NON-Dell adjusted drivers.

Have you re-checked your power options in case it got disabled by the driver update?

I'm using an ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO - The drivers either installed with Win 7 or it automatically downloaded when I did the first "Windows Update" - The driver that it gave me was just the basic driver, no CCC - Can I install just the CCC or do I have to re-install the whole kaboodle? Not used to ATI cards, usually use nVidia.

Yah, first thing I checked.
Minor problem though, and looking at other
forums, I'm not the only one.
Submitted it to the Catalyst Feedback Program, we'll see
if anything comes of it. First issue I've ever had with
ATI drivers.

Anyone else notice the WEI score drop with 10.1 drivers?

Im running a 4890 and it dropped to 6.0 for some reason with the 10.1 drivers. (Done in place upgrade)
i uninstalled all ATI software, ran driver sweeper, re-installed 10.1 and same thing. 6.0 in WEI although game perf. didnt seem to really change.

un-installed and rolled back to 9.12 and all OK again. 7.6

I know the WEI isnt all that, but still just curious why it done this, or if anyone else noticed it

Also note that when you update graphics drivers you will need to refresh your WEI score.

the official 10.1 release is still thwart with issues, they dont report being WHQL & they still list 9.12 due to ATI forgetting to alter the ''inf'' file ........ anyone having issues with this driver may want to try these....

this is the 8.70 RC2 (supposed 10.2 revision string)

im running these myself with no problems, the 3 driver sets....

2D driver version
Direct3D version
Open GL version

are all newer than the official 10.1's (here's an image of the 10.2 RC2)

apparently 10.1 (8.69 revision string), will not add any new features...... these will only address a few bugs.

the 10.2 (8.70 revision string) will contain all the goodies, so i'd recommend giving these BETA's a try...
