*NEW* ATI Catalyst OpenGL 4.0 preview driver

    New Features:
Fully supports the OpenGL 4.0 specification on the ATI Radeon HD 5000 Series.
Fully supports the OpenGL 3.3 specification on the ATI Radeon HD Series & ATI FirePro Graphics Adapters.

Anyone running the 10.3a can stay with them over the above, as the only difference is the updated OpenGL component (that is unless you want to play around with the OpenGL bit).

Also the 10.3b Preview just came out today,

    ATI Catalyst 10.3 Preview Driver

Thanks for the heads up. I myself am still using the 10.2 drivers and don't plan on updating till the 10.4's are ready for release. I tend to stay one driver update behind seeing that ATI has monthly releases.

I have a problem. Im using windows 7 64bit. I wanted to update my ati hd 5770 drivers, but I have no idea how it could be done. Ive downloaded all of the possible stuff from the catalyst driver downloads, but whenever I want to install the drivers I get this result.

I tried going to device manager but if I select my graphics card there it says:
    "ATI Radeon HD 5700 series"
    "Resource settings"
"This device is not using any resources, because it has a problem"

Can anyone help me to get my drivers updated?

Also the application crash has happened to other programs (not related to graphics cards) too, applying compatibility settings doesnt help

Hey guys, with Battlefield Bad Company 2 - after switching the resolution down and then back to native to fix the Vsync, I find flicking the AF up and then back down again gets rid of the texture flicker. Game runs perfect once thats done.

    - Hope this helps : )

       Note
Yet another Beta set of drivers have been released.

Apparently these are based on early Cat 10.5 - some have reported improvements, others have reported issues

I wouldn't try installing any "beta" files that don't come directly from the company anyways.

    - they seem to work OK
    - didn't affect the existing CCC either..

    - which is odd, 'cos BETA's often do that..

BugMeister depends on which version of CCC you had to begin with. Despite this "10.5 beta" now having the encoder tab in Advanced mode, it is a slightly older version that what comes with the 10.3/10.4 preview/betas. To get the "new" CCC you have to uninstall whichever one you have first.
