Oh sure, bring that up
Thanks alot, tw33k, now I'll have to try it
You don't have the 11a numbers.
I tried gpuclean, the 11a drivers, Von mod capswitcher (dummy cap), vontweaks and I must say, I have very stable drivers with crisp clean image.
It still shows what CCC version it is as well as the driver versions, it just doesn't show the Catalyst version. Heck if you wanted to you could make it say anything you wanted too,
just find that line in the WHQL set or add it to the hotfix and add the version number yourself, or make it say anything you want it too as it has no affect on how anything works.[/QUOTE]
So What this means is I do have 11.1 even though it still says 10.12. I know that I installed it and I do have the new version of CCC. It just has not changed to 11.1 is all. Right? Or am I wrong? If I am wrong, Do I need one of the hot fixes & witch one?
Correct.It just has not changed to 11.1 is all. Right?

@sygnus21
i think i have the answer why there is delay and the ccc icon in the notification area disappears. in the ccc main window under preferences there is a setting called FOLLOW WINDOWS SCHEME make sure this is UN-TICKED and then the icon stays in the notification area and no delay.
Nope.... the delay is still there when right clicking the desktop or items on the desktop. I've pretty much chalked it up to that's the way the new CCC2 works.
BTW that item was already un-ticked by default. I ticked it just to see, and again, no affect.
Also I don't have the disappearing icon some have reported so....
Thanks.
Have you tried changing your windows theme to basic not using aero just for the heck of it? Or what about changing your appearance performance options. Try setting them to a higher performance setting. See if it works better from doing little things like that. You could even try to change your power settings to high performance. If you try these things and it works. I would not blame CCC2 I would blame the overall performance of your PC. This is just a thought. Might help probably not. But go ahead and give it a shot.
