    Stretch screen problem.

using ATI catalyst 9.7 suite for windows 7 64 bit

Im using hdmi to a 720p lcd tv, native resolution is not good. In vista i used 1920x1080i that looked good, and stretched the screen. (9,6 vista x64 drivers i think)

Now the display is centered with black bars and i dont see any option to stretch it

    Appreciate any solution

    (using gigabyte with HD 3200)

Prior to build 16385 I had the same problem with ATI 9.7. Had to use 9.6 with overscan.

In 16385, the native drivers worked. Applied 9.7 and it still works without adjustment. This corroborates DJG's findings.

found the settings after some googling

" In the Desktop & Displays right-click on the display icon just above the "Basic..." button (or left-click on the black triangle) and select Configure."

    way to hide it

    ATI 4980 nightmare

I tried the new ATI drivers and I kept getting this error message.

Could not load file or assembly 'MOM.Implementation, Version=2.0.3470.20910, Culture=neutral, PublicKey Token=90ba9c70f846762e' or one of its dependencies.
The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.

I was hoping it would help me with the problem that started after adding the new ATI card (48901GB2), my system just shuts down for no reason. I have a 650 Watt power supply, and ATI only requires a 500 watt power supply with one card.

I got the new 9.7 but I still don't have the option for the Avivo Video Converterer. Any ideas?

Catalyst 9.8 out, boosts CrossFireX with AMD chipsets

AMD has released a new set of Catalyst graphics drivers, and there's a twist. The drivers shouldn't hit the AMD Game website until Monday, but AMD marketing chief Ian McNaughton has posted links to them on his blog.

A quick test run through Vantage shows an improvement. The 59hz monitor bug has also been fixed :)
