I installed it today, I removed the previous version, ran Ccleaner then cleaned with Driver Sweeper and then used "advanced" (that is how I had the option to leave out the 3D vision stuff) and I ticked "clean install". Notice that there is no option to tick or un-tick Physx with this version? I assume that is because it gets installed with the display driver.

I might well re-install it again but I really did a pretty thorough job installing it the first time.

I am pretty sure it is installed and GPU-Z is just in error but I am going to try a fresh install doing as you suggest Dwarf - I will report back.

Go into nvidia control panel and set physx for gpu, it'll be set for cpu, I had same issue.

It still doesn't show up in GPU-Z. It doesn't matter I am sure it is installed. Nvidia control Panel says it is etc.

I did I clean install of the driver anyway, I was having some issues with AfterBurner and wanted to do everything from scratch to see if it would fix it. PhysX still not ticked in GPU-Z even after doing as RTS101 suggested again. I reckon GPU-Z is at fault here. It's there! lol

I just hope all this has fixed the AfterBurner issue, the OSD temp display wasn't showing in games for some reason. If not then more Googling!

After saying that "I am sure it is installed", I then doubted myself....

I went to the Nvidia folder that the installer extracts to and found the PhysX installer and chose "modify or repair" (I wonder if it was partly installed because there was no actual "install" option there), after running "modify or repair" PhysX is now ticked in GPU-Z!

And on an unrelated side note - Afterburner is now displaying GPU temp in games again.

    :)

It seems odd to me that every other version of the driver has had the option for PhysX when you choose advanced install, this is the first time that option has not been there and the first time I have had a problem.
