hello all,I've just bought a 32" Panasonic DT 30 as secondary/primary monitor to use with my windows 7 ultimate 64 for gaming and entertainment reason;
it's a 400 hz full-hd monitor on a 5870 Ati video card connected on HDMI;
I've seen in catalyst and windows video
driver that it's recognized as a digital flat panel,but as you know in windows ambient it run at 60 hz max,so it's a bit frustrating for my eyes and it's almost impossible tu use it in 3d mode (as it cut half hz per eye)
So,I've seen in this forum that someone manage to create custom
drivers or EDID setting for some monitors to override this win 7 limitation and I'd like to know how it wold be possible for my TV also connected on HDMI:
1)to create a specified
driver in order to have my monitor working at 120 hz even in windows and also in games launch
2)or to force a refresh that is keept also in games
3)if doing that it's dangerous for my new TV (althought as I said it's a 400 hz tv)
I't as very good panel,but it's a bit sad that a full hd 400 hz local dimming panel is not supported in windows...Any help?
