Did you uninstall the drivers that were previously installed?

Also, what brand and model laptop is it? I'm looking at the 3D Requirements page on nV's site and it's rather...limited.

According to this GeForce GTX 460M - Overview - GeForce your graphics does support 3D Vision. However, the rest of your hardware also has to be compatible as well.

Since you have a laptop, it would help us if we knew the make and full model number. This should be on a label on the underside.

the desktop and notebook drivers have the same version number and at a glance appear the same! Note under supported products tab, it lists exceptions at the bottom!

Its an Asus g53s, and i know that it is capable of 3d use, as it was strongly shown in the commerical for the laptop and in the description as far as i've seen. Yes i did re-install and/or delete the drivers. Still im unable to install it :<
