    Failing to find a driver/update.

    Hello.
I am trying to find a driver for my AMD RADEON HD 6600 Series, but I can't find it. I think it might be the cause of a lot of BSOD's. :/

i got version 8.850.0.0 (According to dxdiag)

anyone want to help me out? =[

Have you tried looking for the official and latest ones?

Here: AMD Graphics Drivers & Software

And, have you already discarded that fact that you may have a faulty card? There could be a lot of factors involving those BSODs, even more than just the drivers.

    Report back, please

Hey guys, thank you kindly for helping me out. I got the new driver up and running & no BSODs anymore so far but 1 occasional freeze and 1 with a different code. But i'll fix that too if it get's annoying. At least i'm not getting one every 10 min.

Before you installed the new driver, did you uninstall the old one first?

Don't think so. Also, i just got the blue screen again... I'm going to kill myself :s

EDIT: Can't find the old radeon thingy in installed software so I think the new one removed them, right?

Try uninstalling drivers, using DriverSweeper and then CCleaner. Then reinstall drivers.

    Here's the link:

I can't believe ATI STILL can't clean uninstall drivers. There was a time where you could install over the top of existing drivers without issues.

    Good luck

What issues? Been installing over the top since at least Vista and never had a problem. The catalyst Install Manager does just what it is supposed to, it uninstalls the old driver and then installs the new. That would be why when installing over the top that the screen goes black a couple of times with the resolution resetting to 800x600 (or whatever the default no driver resolution is), and then back to normal.
