    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Just because your graphics adapter is compatible with Windows 7 it doesn't mean to say it's going to be very good.

You need a dedicated graphics card, but it's difficult to advise you as you haven't posted your full system specs.

It may be "compatible", but that is using the term rather loosely when talking about the old Intel 915G chipset/video. reason being is that there are zero Windows 7 drivers for it as Intel never made one and has ceased all support for it a while ago,

Graphics — Older Intel® graphics controllers and Microsoft Windows 7* operating system

Aero will never work with it as that chipset is lacking not only the driver necessary, it is also lacking the necessary hardware built into it for Aero to work. The only driver available for it is the last XP driver, which you can find in the link above.

and may take using compatibility mode to get it to install,

I can confirm that the v4764 driver is the LATEST one for the Intel 915GM chipset. I'm running the same chipset on a tablet PC and spent a LOT of time tracking that down. And, from what I recall, you DO have to install that using WinXP compatibility mode. And Yes, it will NOT provide Aero support -- no matter what you do.
