| | Why is my graphics card only displaying 742 MB Hello, I have a ATI Radeon HD 5770 Graphics Card and have noticed in both the dxdiag utility and on systemrequirementslab.com that I have 742 MB graphics. I know I have a 1 GB graphics card and GPU-Z also shows that I have 1024 MB video memory available. I have attached a screenshot below. Ben. |

| | i would suggest starting with a complete uninstall of the drivers, use a sweaper to clean any remnants and reinstall. |

| | Bug in dxdiag, Direct-X diagnostics tool (DXDIAG) may report an unexpected value for the display adapters memory. Not an AMD thing as it can happen with Nvidia cards as well. |

| | If something like this, GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility shows the correct memory amount, then I wouldn't worry about it and wait for Microsoft to put out the update that fixes it. |

| | That's okay then, GPU-Z is showing the correct memory amount of 1024 MB on my PC. My laptop has 512 MB video memory although dxdiag shows it has 2249 MB which I know for sure is incorrect. |
