    AMD M880G Chipset
    I was playing metro2033.After awhile I went in the settings,the dx11 settings is not selectable.why is this?

    most likly it doesn't need to use dx 11 most likly DX 10 OR 9

    One reason why the DirectX 11 options are greyed out in that game, you need to meet all 3 conditions from #6 here,

    Tips on Troubleshooting Game Issues

    and you only meet 2 of them,

    1. The OS has DirectX 11

    2. The game uses DirectX 11

    the integrated video in your laptop is only DirectX 10.1,
