Beta

Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 and Mac OS X 10.8.3

Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings\

Select "Change advance power settings." Then scroll down untill you see your graphics power settings. From there you can change it to the way you want it. I would also recomend changing the PCI Express setting to off.

Then go to nvidia.com and fill in the form to get the latest driver for your card and install it.

The information the buyer gave you was concerning the cpu and not the video card. Without opening the laptop to check, you could right click on "computer" link in start menu, click on "manage" and go to "devices" ad look up the display adapters. Alternately yu can go to the nvidia website to download software / drivers and when they perform automatic scan it sould tell what type of video card it has (so long as its an nvidia card).

quick question about NVIDIA optimus
I have a quick question to the NVIDIA optimus gang! I know (now!) that the workaround is to underclock. My problem is that these settings aren't being respected, the GPU reverts to 672 and NVIDIA (or sometimes Intel) service stops and restarts... system is unstable (and can crash) until...

Nvidia Optimus- GPU switching problem
I'm an owner of an N61Jv Asus notebook, with Nvidia optimus technology, which is supposed to change GPU from integrated intel card to Geforce 325m dedicated card, depending on what application are you trying to run. The thing is, it doesn't work as it's supposed to: when starting games with...

NVidia Optimus problems.
Hi all, I am trying to run Skyrim and am having major problems in that it is ridiculously slow even when running minimum specs, and I was wondering if it had something to do with this "Optimus" technology by NVidia. My DxDiag is posted below, but the graphics card has 1GB dedicated memory and...
