    What about ATI HD 4650 512mb 128bits?

    I made an topic here abou GeForce 9500 but now im thinking in buy this one.

    I take a look at some foruns and I see that, in many cases, the ATI HD 4650 do the job (in games) better than the geforce9500gt 512mb 128bits.

    What can You tell me about this video card?

    Im thinking in get the ATI HD. can You tell me something about it?

    I wanna play any games but I dont care about "best graphics". I just want to play with medium profile and constant fps, with the resolution up to 1024x768.

    For what you want to use the graphic card for, the 9500 and 4650 won't be much different as you're wanting to use a low resolution and don't want to play games with the best graphics.

    Overall though, the 4650 will be the better buy as it's generally a better card than the 9500.

    Hi!

    I wanna say the results for my choice.

    I buy the XFX RADEON HD 4650 512mb with 128bits videocard and try it with Windows XP SP3.

    The videocard works fine but in some games its just take some lag.

    Then I install the Windows 7 RTM x86 in my computer.

    Well, lets see it...

    AMD ATHLON X2 5.000+
    ECS GEFORCE 7050M-M V2
    2X 2G DDR800 IN DUAL-CHANNEL MODE
    ATI RADEON HD 4650 128BITS WITH 512MB
    HD 500G SAEGATE
    500W REAL POWER C3-TECH (POWER SUPLY)

    O.S.: WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE RTM X86

    Games tested fo now:
    * Street Fighter IV
    * Prince of Persia (the new one)
    * X-Blades

    All the games with everything in the HIGH.
    I disable: MOTION BLUR, V-SYNC, ANTI-ALIASING IN DEFAULT.

    I was impressed with the Street Fighter IV with all the configs in HIGH (without motion blur, v-sync and with aa in default). It just runs with 60fps without variation during the gameplay.

    I love this videocard!

    Thanks for your help here!

    See ya..

    (sorry about my english)

    HD 3850 AGP here. Check my specs. 7.0. Using latest 9.8 Catalyst, non-hotfix version and games are running well.
