Looking for advice on Video cards.

Good evening everyone. I currently have a ATI 5750. I've been looking to update the whole pc, considering it still uses DDR2 atm. Anyways, I have decided to probably switch back to Nvidia though I'm only 75% on that. I'm currently looking for something around the $150 range, and I would have no problems selling the ATI, as currently I have a old 7900 GS Epci I can get buy with until the new card got here.

It doesn't have to be extremely fancy, just looking for a good sale/best bang for the buck that I can go a 2 years stretch of not having to upgrade.

Thanks!

Hello and welcome to seven forums.

For that kind of money the best Nvidia card would be the 550ti which from what I read is a very good card.

Cheers

Paul.

you don't say what you plan on doing with the card so its hard to offer a recommendation.
a very decent AMD card (I use either nvidia or ati ) in that price range is the 6850.
I currently use an AMD card for ease of running 3 screens, nvidia requires 2 cards ( there are maybe 2 newer nvidia cards now that can do 3 screens on a single card)
