    video drivers wont boot

I built a new computer 2 months ago. 1 month ago I bought a HyperX 120g SSD sata3, did an image transfer from the old HDD, everything was fine, only issue I had was getting Windows7 to see it plugged in the sata3 port, got that working. I decided to format the SDD just to have it fresh! Everything went fine this was 2 days ago. all the updates were fine SP1 installed blah blah. No issues with any software installs. So I shut down the computer, turn it on & it boots in VGA, I get "no errors", nothing. Today is the 3rd time it has happened. I go into Programs & Features, The Nvidia drivers are there (280.26). I've had to reinstall the drivers 3x now, reboot then it runs fine. The mobo bios are all up to date. I have no conflicts in hardware. If I hit the restart it restarts fine. I cant find any settings? Unless I'm missing something in BIOS. Which brings me to here!

In the BIOS what is set to:

Video INIT First: VGA/PCI-E, this is the only thing I can think of in the BIOS that may impact on this. (should be PCI-E but is usually VGA as default)
