Compatibility With XFX HD-667X-ZAF3 Radeon HD 6670...

Hi,

Just a quick question.

Will my motherboard (the default for HP p6130y Motherboard Specifications, M2N78-LA (Violet) HP Pavilion p6130y Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English))

be compatible with

Newegg.com - XFX HD-667X-ZAF3 Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

and

Newegg.com - RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-530SS 530W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular LED Power Supply

?

I intend to take some measurements and check it out tomorrow, but I just gotta know if I'm missing something obvious. For example, can PCIex16 2.1 work with the PCIx16 slot on the mobo?

Thanks!

Pci e 2.1 is supposedly backwards compatible.
Meaning a 2.1 card should work in a 1.0 slot, which seems to be what you have.

This isn't 100% certainty but I am currently using a 5850 on my old asus board here without problems. (it's just standard pci-e 16x)
