What did Dell do to this Radeon 6770?

    I would not have bothered if it was my PC. But the system is for someone so I wanted it "like new" so there could be no complaints.

    I have never seen anything like it on any retail cards either.

    Now when I worked in process control programing Bailey Control Systems (military class electronics, etc.) we had a "hardened" PC in which the PCI expansion cards were secured in a cage with a screwed on bracket running across the top of all of the cards to prevent vibration/shock issues. That was just one of design considerations in that case design..... but that was another life....

    Here is an older card I had, it was quite long already and only has a short bracket that slips into the expansion card retainer that large cases had.

    Zepher, that is the longest AGP card I have seen without the extension.

    Marsmimar, that is either the worst Boss ever or the best Boss ever depending on how you manage him!

    Ya, that was a dual GPU card used for 3D work.
