Another resolution question

Hello Everyone,

My setup:
AMD Quad Core 2.5mhz
Video Card: Radeon HIS 4670
Monitor: Acer 23" 1080 resolution
Connecting using DVI to HDMI cable which runs to the monitor

My issue started yesterday when I setup the drivers on Windows 7 my monitor showed the screen at full rolution and the screen was perfectly fit on the screen. I restarted and booted to xp and my resolution was way off (screen was small leaving black edges on the side) so I changed it to fill the screen, no big problem yet. Now when I go back into Windows 7 the screen is either too big (go off the screen on all sides) or it stays too small (leaving black edges on the sides). I updated the drivers from the website but it seems that doesn't work either. XP has no problem but it seems like Windows 7 doesn't like the settings or something.

Current settsing in Windows 7 and Catalyst are as follows:
1920X1080 (recommended)
Lanscape
60 Hertz
True color 32 bit
Monitor type- Generic PnP Monitor
ATI catalyst ControlCenter Versison 2009.0702.1239.20840

Please help me get my screen fully viewable without having black bars on the side or changing the resolution everytime I switch from xp to Windows 7 on dual boot.

My System SpecsSystem Spec
