"New Hardware Found" 9500 GT Not Responding

So my GTX 460 recently crapped out on me.

I bought an open box HD 6850 from new egg but it didn't work (faulty, so I sent it back) so I uninstalled all the drivers, used Driver Sweeper, then re-installed the latest NVIDIA drivers and popped in my back up 9500 GT to hold me over until I can grab a newer better card.

Problem is, every time I restart my pc I get the "Found New Hardware" notification and it tells me it has stopped responding but, everything is working. The card is running and Riva Tuner shows it as active. Device Manager says it's running okay also.

Any ideas on how to stop the notices?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Pretty sure you are suppose to put the card in then load the drivers. Maybe windows is having trouble as you did it the other way round.

Uninstall the driver, reboot, then load the driver again. That might do it.

Yeah, that did it. For some reason the drivers didn't install properly the first time. Weird. Thanks for the feedback, helped.
