New Graphics Card - Failure... Huh?

Alright, well a week or few ago I asked on a thread if this graphics card ( Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P3-1370-TR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card ) would work with my Dell Studio XPS 8100 Desktop Computer and they said it would, but for some reason it doesn't.
I purchased a new PSU power supply unit and it is 600 watts and it works fine, but when I put in the Newegg.com - EVGA 01G-P3-1370-TR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card graphics card and turned on my computer, it made some beeps and had a delay, then repeated.

I know that it means it doesn't work, I got an RMA for a replacement, but I'm not sure if the graphics card even works for my motherboard.
Here is my motherboard specs... ( Picture )

Also I used an adaptor for a Molex to a 4-Pin connector and the 4-Pin connector is in my motherboard.
Yes everything is wired correctly.

Makes some beeps? Can you be more specific, as beep codes will tell us what's causing the error.

You have plugged a power cable into the GPU haven't you?

Plugged a power cable, as in plug the 6-pin adapters? Yes I plugged both 6-pin adaptors into the GPU.
But I don't know what you're talking about for a power cable.
Also the beeps went from about a beep per half of a second, and totaled up to around 5 beeps.

I'm confused.

The Corsair power supply has the 4 pin +12V CPU power connector (part of a 4+4 pin one) that your motherboard seems to require, and the PSU also has the two PCI-E auxiliary power connectors that the new graphics card requires. You should need no adapters.

Can you be a bit more explicit about how you've connected the PSU to the board?

"around 5 beeps"? .. like going to a doctor with a broken toe and saying "hurts down there somewhere"...

beep codes are the easiest way to determine post boot problems.

looks like ill have to do the work for you.. Dell XPS8100 manual states the 6 beeps before post is GPU fault, since you havent another GPU or PSU to try, all you can do is wait for the replacement. If the error continues, then id look at your power supply.. yes i know its new but still maybe broken.

Thirdly if the error is still consistent then id go as far as saying its a motherboard issue.
