    No video

I boot up my system today only to see no video appear on my old monitor. So I try to tighten the video cable (Monitor only has VGA, so a VGA-DVI adapter is used to use my card, and the adapter is still a bit loose) and try again, still no signal. I then swap to the other DVI port, still no video. I then swap back to the last port, same story. Odd thing is, it was working with no problems at all last night.
So my computer will boot up, but I can't get anything on my monitor, any ideas?

FWIW: sometimes turning it all off and then removing the video card, then reseat it good a couple of times will loosen any crud or corrosion that might be on the paddleboard to the motherboard.
All bets are off if your video is part of the motherboard.

I have done it a couple of times on an older PC and it worked..

I removed the 6-pin power from the card and reconnected that and it somehow did the trick, no idea how that worked though . . .
