You can look up the dell website for your computer model and its drivers and download from there, or you can set windows to automatically search for and install drivers for you through this method: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...-your-hardware

I'm sorry if this question sounds odd at all, but are running XP or 7 on your Inspiron 6000. I ask because I know the Inspiron 6000 is an older model, which I did not think could run Windows 7. I am unaware of any Windows 7 drivers for you graphics card but if you are running XP, I have the link to the newest version of the driver from Intel and Dell. Be aware that the Intel version of the driver, while newer, is not optimized for your computer and is not guaranteed to work perfectly. Thus, I recommend trying the Dell one first.

Are you using the 32-bit version of Windows 7? If so, I have heard of people getting XP drivers to work in Windows 7. You will most likely have to run the installer in compatibility mode.

Dell only supply XP drivers for your computer.

The reason for this is that your computer was built in 2005, way before the Windows 7 launch.

As Petey suggests, you can try installing the driver in compatibility mode for Windows XP.

And that is because Intel never made one for the 915G graphics,

Graphics — Older Intel® graphics controllers and Microsoft Windows 7* operating system

You can try the last XP driver that Dell has or you can try the last XP driver that Intel put out for it,

which is a bit newer than the one Dell has.
