OK, this would be where you go through the same routine again but don't install the newest available drivers. Try to go back one version, or whichever specific version you had before if you can remember what it was.

If you're having difficulty finding archived drivers on the AMD website, we'll help you dig up the right one.

Please do take a moment to create a system recovery disc in Windows as soon as you can. Then you'll be prepared in case you ever need it.
Have I been abandoned? :S

Trying several fixes now,
Installing new WHQL drivers
Changing startup options like No GUI Boot

SOLVED!

I couldn't solve anything in safe mode.

I booted up in advanced boot options ---> 480*640 Resolution. It worked, just about. I managed to log in. I installed more stuff from the card manufacturer, and then the ati drivers. Restarted. Now I'm better off than before, more overclocking options and controls! Good stuff! Oh, and of course I'm setting a restore point XD

Thanks for any help..

Problem solved.

Booted in 640*480 resolution. Installing/uninstalling in safe mode didn't do anything.

In normal mode, which only just worked. I installed ATI drivers and tools from Asus (card maker)

Now I have more overclocking options and a computer that works.

Setting restore point, of course.

Thanks guys.

Kinda late coming into this thread but FWIW, now that your machine is running great, this would be a wonderful time to create a system image on an external hard drive. If your computer ever goes belly up a system image can bring your machine back to life in just minutes (barring, of course, a major hardware failure like a fried motherboard, hard drive, etc.)
