    Annoying dual display problem

    Hi,

I have a dual head setup that works ok. My issue though is that whenever I do a reboot, I have to go into display resolution settings and re-enable "extend" displays.

Is there a way to make this persistent? It's just annoying doing a reboot and having to spend time re-organising your desktop every time.

    TIA

We need more information - your hardware specs, and specifically, the monitors and video card.

Something that irritates me no end is when I switch off of 7 to use another computer, 7 moves the main desktop to the visible second monitor. Arg! When that happens, I go back to two monitors on 7, right click the desktop, Screen resolution, and then the "Detect" button. 7 puts everything back. If you haven't done so already, create a profile in your ATI video utility and save your preferred settings there. Makes it easier to keep one's desktop looking the preferred way.
