    Apple Cinema Displays

So I was fantasizing about having these as dual monitors I was wondering can my video card (GTX470) support them both at their native res of 2560x1440?

I dont know if your card will support it but I have 3 x 2560x1440 screens and IMO it's too much for a 28" screen, my eyes are pretty good but I need my browser screens zoomed to at least 125% to be able to read them.

Most web sites look absolutely lost on a page that size, just to give you an idea I've taken a snip - not of all the screen because the snipping tool just refuses to do it, but I took a slice.

Lol I'm squinting at my 32" screen most of the time, and that's only 1080p lol.
I think your card would work with 2, but not with anything particularly demanding.
The dell 2600x1600 monitor suggests 2 580's in sli to run lol. But as that's a suggestion I'm not sure if it has marketing purposes!

My 6950 can run up to 5 monitors with eye infinity.. But at what level of performance and resolution I don't know

Apple Cinema screens are fantastic, but you can certainly find cheaper monitors with the very same high quality IPS panels inside them. Even my old Radeon 4850 will run dual screens at 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. That's an overkill for many purposes, but if you have one screen in portrait mode it's fantastic for web-browsing of course!
