| | Second monitor briefly displays then goes blank after power is cycled I have been using 2 monitors for a year or so. One day my second monitor stopped working. When the computer starts or I cycle power to the monitor the screen displays briefly (1-2 seconds) and then goes blank. It shows the desktop correctly (or whatever would be there) but won't stay that way. Each monitor works correctly on it's own and in either port and with either DVI cable. NVIDIA GeForce GTS 240 Monitor1: Samsung Syncmaster 245BW Monitor2: LG Flatron W2361V What I have tried: 1. I have switched out all cables. 2. Tried monitor on another computer (works) 3. Unplugged everything and let it sit 20 minutes or so and then plugged it all back in 4. Updated video drivers, including a fresh install of Nvidia control software 5. Adjusted to all available refresh rates and resolutions on both monitors |
