Well, not necessarily. Intel will allow you to enable both. (And use them.)

The BIOS should show the options for graphics and HDMI.
Oh really, cool. Usually I encountered options of only one or the other.

Main - Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-Bit; 2nd - Windows Server 2008 R2
 
 

It's generally not advised to use both due to driver conflicts, but when you need to use both it's worth it to put up with any potential hassle. Personally, I'd prefer even an el-cheapo video card with all the connections I needed and leaving the onboard disabled.
