    Desktop Windows 7 32 bit

Although I have removed the tick from the igfxpers.exe from the start up menu, my desktop still reverts back to pre calibration. I does not accept the calibrated screen. What else can I do to avoid having to calibrate everytime I start up my computer. Getting rather frustrated.

Hey allansu, Welcome to the forum.

Have a look at this link, it might shed some light on your situation.

    igfxpers.exe - What is igfxpers.exe?

    igfxpers.exe

Your reply was very helpful, in so far that I think I understand this file a little better, but not fully. Would it be detrimental to my pc or any software ie Photoshop Elements 9 that I run if I uninstalled or deleted the igfxpers.exe file as I feel that will be the only way in keeping my calibrated screen on start-up.

You can, but try the instructions in the link I provided. Here's a clip of it.
