Using an LG 60LD550 on Radeon HD 6450

Not sure if this a post for the win 7 forums but I'm hoping someone has an idea what my issue may be.

I'm using an LG 60LD550 on Radeon HD 6450 to watch movies. I have installed a new MOBO/CPU which required a graphics card which I was not planning on so I grabbed a cheap one till I decide which dual cards I want to run when I get yet a newer MOBO and 8 core CPU in the coming months.

I have set up the following presets in AMD Vision Engine Control Center
Preset 1 (main) 23" Samsung LCD (DVI)
    20" AOC LCD (VGA)
Preset 2 (Movies) LG 60LD550 (HDMI)

When I switch to the LG Preset I get a picture in multicolor fuzz I can barely see. It defaults to 1080p/60hz. When I change it to 30hz the picture clears up but does not take up the whole screen. In about 2 minutes the setting reset back to 60hz and it starts all over again. I can't seem to do anything to make the setting work. Could it possibly be the crappy video card I chose?

I had the same TV hooked up to my old setup and everything worked fine.
Here is my old set up.
    MOBO - ASUS M4A785-M
    Graphics - Integrated
Presets - Same as above. 60" worked fine. No fuzz and used the entire screen.

How had you connected the TV to the old set up?

You might want to try that connection method with the HD 6450.

Well, I expect it to be better than the onboard HD4200 you had.

I have it hooked up exactly he same way. Everything is identical. Only difference is the video card. Which like I said has some pretty bad reviews. I'm still trying to decide what (2) video cards I want to get for my new MOBO which will hopefully solve all my problems but for now not being able to run the TV off the PC is killing me.
