Nvidia geforce gts 250 card problem.

Hello everyone.I am really frustated with some problem that has popped up recently.i hope someone can help me out here.
My system specs:
cpu:Intel quad core @ 2.83 ghz
mobo:asus p5q pro
graphic card:nvidia geforce gts 250
psu:cooler master 650 kw
hard disk:1 tb
Bios:Latest from asus website for my model.
Drivers:all updated.
os:windows 7 64 bit.

Now two weeks back , everything was working fine up and running.i could even play crysis 2 at the maximum settings smooth as hell. Then i had a problem of my pc restarting by itself. So i reinstalled my windows and installed a fresh one.Everything became fine again. Then i again updated to service pack 1 and installed all updates.
I previously also had service pack 1 .
Then a few random crashes when i was playing fifa 11 with flickering screens.
i had to forcely restart.i did it.The third time i did the restart i see that the resolution changed to 800 * 600.
i tried to open the nvidia control panel , but it says "You are currently not using any nvidia gpu".
?????????
Then i went to the device manger to check n it says :
"Windows has stopped this device code error 43".

so i tried the old way of uninstall and install the nvidia driver.
but no use.
i have tried all the troubleshoot available in windows.but no use.

And one more thing, wen i start my pc,
the first screen in bios has all blue dots all over the screens.
the second screen has ranom characters all over the screen in white.
then windows starts up and it works fine but in vga resolution.

I am totally confused what has happened and do not know what to do.

Was it the update that caused the problem, i dnt think so as i previously also had sp1 two weeks back and it wa sworking fine.

How can my graphic card get corrupt all of a sudden.

n if its some software issue , how do i solve it.

currently the card is detected by the system but its not working.

please help me out guys.

I am attaching the screen shots..

Welcome to SevenForums.

I'm sorry to say that your GFX may be Faulty.

Try the Following.

1, Take the Card out of the Current PCI-e Socket and place in the other one.
2, Ensure your cards FAN is running when its on.
3, Cry - as this does not solve it your card is indeed DEAD.

I would enquirer about a RMA from the manufacturer as most cards have a nice 3yr warranty.
