Need help choosing a Video Card please

I would recommend you Nvidia GTX 460, 560 or Radeon 6850, 6870. That GTX 460 and 6850 costs pretty much the same and they perform equally in most games. Next little more expensive cards are those 560 GTX and 6870. If i remember right that GTX 560 costs little more than 6870 but its also little better. With those games your playing and with that screen (1280x1024 resolution is pretty low nowadays) those all cards should be enough. For example LoL should work with every card smoothly even with medium/max. It all just depends how much you are going to spend for that video card.

Those cards should costs from some 180$ to some 250$. Im not 100% shure cause those prices have changed somewhat on past few months.

Here is one review for those cards. Check that and you should then know how much you should expect fps etc... from those cards.

My English isn't perfect but i think that you should understand what i try to say. I hope this will help you even little with your video card problem.

I forgot to check out that power supply . Im not shure how big your power supply should have with those cards. You should check those before your going to buy any card. That GTX 460 and 6850 should work with some 450W or bigger power supply. Even thought im not 100% shure. So that GTX 560 and 6870 would't maybe work with that power supply.

I'm currently in Vietnam so this machine was put together here as well. For the power supply i have "Vision 3G Power Supply P4 ATXW485-24SYL", sadly, I didn't find any results on english google search. On the Viet forums though, it seems that this is a no name bottom line PSU which is not recommended for gaming with an upgraded video card. I can't even find the wattage for this PSU, don't know if you guys can guess by looking at the info provided? If it seems to be a too low of a psu, can you guys recommend some decent ones for me?

I think that your PSU is 485W. If i have to quess from that model name. I haven't heard from that PSU and google didn't give anything information that i could understand. You could try to buy that video card first if your going to get GTX 460 or that 6850. If that is 485W is should work. If not then you could buy even new PSU. In my opinion those corsair power supplys are very good, but they are pretty expensive. Some 550W should good choice if you have to change your PSU too. It little depends . Cause i don't know too much from those PSU things i recommend that you check that does that your PSU have PCI-E connectors. If its not too old it should have those. And you should check that does that new video card your going to buy need 6 or 8 pin PCI-E power connectors/cables or what ever you call them. If i quess right those card need 1 or 2 6-pin PCI-E connectors. You should be able to check those things from manufactures site. Those GTX 560 and 6870 can maybe need bigger PSU. I think that you find that information on manufactures site as well. That your 485W isn't too much nowadays so i think thats why it isnt recommened for gaming.

My self have GTX 570 and if i remember right you should have for that some 500-550W power supply min. I have 650W so it works well. Its good to get little bigger PSU than you need if you choose to get something new for that computer.
