Dual monitor with intregrated intel card and Nvidia 8500GT

Hello Guys,

Sorry if i am asking retarted stuff, i just want to know if it might be possible

I just got this my new pc, and i also got a monitor with it. The computer had a integrated intel video card, and an Nvidia 8500GT. Is it possible to plug the secondary monitor into the integrated intel card, and use the Nvidia for my main display?

Thanks in advance for helping me,

Wakawakamush

You would need to plug both monitors into the NVidia 8500GT and then configure them through the NVidia Control Panel. Generally speaking, if a computer has integrated graphics on the motherboard and a discrete graphics card is inserted, then the on-board graphics is disabled.

There isn't another normal (i think it is called VGA?) hole in the video card. Does that mean that i'll have to get a special connector for the secondary monitor?
