New AGP grapics card to buy

    hi all,
i have an old pc with:

CPU: Intel P4 Northwood @2,53 GHz
    RAM: 2 GB DDR @300MHz
Motherboard: ASUS P4P8X with AGP 8x
    PSU: 400W
OS: Win XP pro SP3/Win 7 pro SP1

    OLD GPU: Sapphire HD 3450 (512MB DDR2)

with the HD 3450 i was able to play games like Unreal Tournament 3 at 1024x768, medium settings at 45-50 fps (sometimes 55-60). yesterday it stopped to work.

i need a new gpu with similar (or higher) specs.. my budget is 75$, max 90...
    what could i take?

    AGP is almost Legend .......

I would look around sites like new egg or Tiger direct .com

I don't kow what area you are from and what stores you could order from but pretty much 90 bucks should get you a top agp card if any

    Newegg.com - HIS H465F1GHA Radeon HD 4650 1GB 128-bit DDR3 AGP 4X/8X HDCP Ready Video Card

    Newegg.com - HIS IceQ H467QS1GHA Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 AGP 4X/8X HDCP Ready Video Card

About the only way you're going to find a 3850 any more is either used, or some shop that has one that has been sitting collecting dust for the last few years.

Just as a thought, I'd consider spending as little as possible, and putting the rest towards saving up for a new system, especially since you play games.

Get the Card. It is worth it.

I had a Sapphire HD3650 AGP card which worked really well for 2 years.

After RMA I got a HD4670 Arctic cooling edition.

I think that PC deserves the last upgrade that you are planning to give.
