Installed new video card now no boot and no beeps

I've been building and upgrading PCs for a while and never had this happen before. Any help would be great!

I'm running on an Intel DP55WB motherboard with a PCIe 2.0 x16

I pulled the old Radeon 4600 series video card and put in a XFX Radeon HD 6770. When I try to boot it up, the lights and fans come on, but I get no signal to the monitor, no beeps, and the pc doesn't boot.

It had a thermaltake 600 AP power supply in it (which should be more than enough) but I put in an Antec 750w high current gamer supply in and same no boot. I then thought there might be a problem with the slot on the board so I swapped the old card back in the same slot and it booted right up. At this point all I can think is that the card is bad out of the box, any thoughts before I have to go deal with RMA?

Sounds like a bad card, but can you check it in another PC?

Just to be sure, you have power to all the connections on the new card, right?

Yep, have it all connected right. Can't try it in another pc, none available at the moment, and getting a PC to check it with is just as much trouble as taking the card back for a new one. Guess I'll swap it tomorrow.

It sounds like you did all the right things. My experience with XFX has been very good, but I guess there's always that one. Good luck with the new one.

Hello, So I recently assembled a new computer, connected everything started it up - got no output even though I could hear drives spinning and everything "appeared" to work, so I stripped it right back to just the motherboard, CPU (heatsink) and PSU - I do realise that it won't POST without RAM...
