| | resetting video graphics settings I am running Windows 7 RC1 with an Intel G35 onboard video card. I set my monitor's brightness/contrast settings through Intel's software. Every time I restart the computer it resets the settings and my screen on bootup looks washed out. I know this may be due to the fact that Windows 7 is still a release candidate but has anyone else had an experience like this? Any fixes? Thanks. |

| | Have you tried adjusting the contrast on the monitor, adjusting it in Windows will not effect what it looks like when booting, only your monitor settings can do that. |

| | I tried it but for some reason the brightness and contrast don't seem to look right on my monitor. I'm using an HP w2207h on a DVI connection. |
