    ati 5770 hdmi output not working


    I bought new computer about 6 month ago. Hdmi worked fine with my tv and i dont know whats wrong now. I know its not the cable because i bought another one and the tv is certainly not because it has 2 hdmi. The computer as i said is almost new so a would be very happy if i wouldnt have to give it repairing.

    welcome to the forum.

    firstly have you downlaoded the latest drivers for your gpu?

    Are you sure its not the TV? have you tried another HDMI device on it.

    the tv works fine. i tried it now with another computer. Thank you for replying i guess i will just have to give it repairing.

in Graphic Cards

My laptop crashed when removing the HDMI cable... totally dead... had to pull the battery to get it restarted. Now unfortunately the HDMI output is no longer recognizing the TV unless there is a second VGA monitor connected. Does this sound like a hardware issue?
