Very good thread. I bought 3 days ago my first "enthusiast" GFX card and was wondering how well I'm doing. Especially since I'm still using my 4 year old GA-EP35-DS3R board with PCI-E 1.1 x16.
Good to know I'm not completely bottlenecked by my old board. I wonder how much my score will improve after upgrading mb, cpu and ram, but this can wait after the summer. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Handjob ;) OS WinXP Pro (x86) / Win7 Pro (x64) CPU Core 2 Quad Q9500 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R (rev. 2.1) Memory (8192MB) 4x2GB DDR2 FSB1066Mhz (800mhz) Kingston HyperX Graphics Card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC 2GB Sound Card Creative SB X-Fi Titanium PCI-E, (Onboard) Realtek ALC889A Monitor(s) Displays 24" TFT NEC EA241WM, 21" CRT Eizo FlexScan F77S Screen Resolution TFT 1920*1200, CRT 1600x1200 Keyboard Microsoft Natural MultiMedia Mouse Steelseries Sensei PSU Thermaltake Toughpower XT 875W Case Antec Nine Hundred Cooling Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Hard Drives IDE/-ATA Samsung 250GB SP2514N
