I found it better this way set it too high and they start getting toasty
It's not easy to compare clock speeds of AMD vs Nvidia, I think they are totally different, but there certainly is not a massive performance difference between the 2 in this test. | My System Specs |

The maxed out settings is more like it and you beat me by a good amount which is to be expected. I have no idea why. It could be your overclock, I ran those a while back so I was using old drivers, I could of been running something else alongside of the benchmark or It could just be your 560's have better low-end torque.
I run Nvidia surround, Do you?
I'll run new ones later with the same setting and see what happens. Nvidia surround? Do you mean you are running 3 screens?
I am only running 1 screen when doing the benchmarks.
The only thing I could think of was perhaps my overclock runs great at the lower settings but once we run the maxed out settings it needs more vram and your cards have more than mine and that makes the difference? Yes I am running 3 screens(Nvidia surround) even in the benchmarks. I leave mine in surround all the time, I don't like redoing my settings for every benchmark I run...lol
Could still be that low-end torque though. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Jeepmann/Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit + xp,Vista, ubuntu in V-Box's CPU Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (@4.5Ghz@1.230v) Motherboard Asus Maximus IV Extreme LGA 1155 Intel P67 Memory G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB 1600Mhz (4 x 4GB) (Stock) Graphics Card x2 EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 570 (Stock) in SLI Surround Sound Card On-Board Monitor(s) Displays 3x Acer 24" HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor Screen Resolution 3@ 1920x1080 (5760x1080 In Surround) Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Zalman M300 PSU COOLER MASTER Silent Pro 1000W Case COOLER MASTER HAF X Black Cooling CORSAIR Hydro H70 Hard Drives Samsung 830 128gb ssd

I think that will affect the results even if heaven is only running on one screen. I expect if you disconnected the other 2 monitors and ran the test again you will beat me.
I had 2 screens connected the other day and it lowered my score by 100 even though it was not switched on!
I want 3 screens eventually, but they all need to be 27", I only need 2 more lol.
I currently have 1x 27, 1x 23, 1x 19 and 1x 18.5 and 1x 17, my room is a monitor graveyard lol. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Paulpicks Special Edition OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit CPU i7 3770K @ 4.6ghz Motherboard Asus Z77 Sabertooth Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X DDR3 2400Mhz 10-12-12-30 1t Graphics Card Sapphire Vapor-X HD7970 GHZ Edition Sound Card Xear 3d C Media PCI Monitor(s) Displays 27" Hanns-G HL272 LED Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Cyborg V5 Mouse Coolermaster Storm Inferno PSU Antec Truepower New 750 Case Antec 1100 Cooling Antec Kuhler 920 Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 4 128gb (OS), Crucial M4 64gb (Origin), Corsair F60 (Steam). Solar, I ran the test again at just over stock, results are pretty much the same as yours, so the 6870 holds its own just fine against the 560ti | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Paulpicks Special Edition OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit CPU i7 3770K @ 4.6ghz Motherboard Asus Z77 Sabertooth Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X DDR3 2400Mhz 10-12-12-30 1t Graphics Card Sapphire Vapor-X HD7970 GHZ Edition Sound Card Xear 3d C Media PCI Monitor(s) Displays 27" Hanns-G HL272 LED Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Cyborg V5 Mouse Coolermaster Storm Inferno PSU Antec Truepower New 750 Case Antec 1100 Cooling Antec Kuhler 920 Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 4 128gb (OS), Crucial M4 64gb (Origin), Corsair F60 (Steam). Never had a doubt if i did more up clocking either core or memory clock i would be pulling higher benches but then again games only run so much FPS still not enough to want to do more pushing that will probally happen in the next 2 years or if i decide to go Bigger in gpu that is
What's even better I got the Hd6870 when it hit the shelves that is a little more then two in a half years so the investment payed off also i did a RMA before the warrenty went sour lol | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Built by me FX - Series Scorpious OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit sp1 CPU Vishera FX 8350 Oc' 4.812Ghz 1.488 V-core full load 50c Motherboard Asus Sabertooth 990fx rev 2.0 Memory 16gb Corsair Vengeance ram 1600mhz Oc'ed to 1750mhz Graphics Card VisionTek HD7970 Ghz.ed Bios Crossfire 1150/1560 power 10% Sound Card AC97 Monitor(s) Displays 27" ViewSonic 1920/1080dp hdmi 37in vizio hdmi dual monitors Screen Resolution 1920x1080 27"- 1920x1080 37" Keyboard Logitech wireless keyboard Mouse Logitech wireless mouse PSU HX1050w Corsair Silver 80plus certified crosfire/sli Case Thermaltake Element V Cooling Antec 620 Water cooling system and 4 120 mm LED fans Hard Drives Ocz Agility 120Gb SSD Seagate baracuda 500 Gb WD Mybook 500Gb Internet Speed Cable 25+ mb Antivirus WebRoot Spysweeper with Antivirus Browser IE-9, Chrome, Opera Other Info I have 2 systems FX AM3+ 8350-K15 Oc'ed 4.812Ghz AM2+ 965 BE Stock 3.4 Ghz Both stable Both Gaming Rigs Also Hp Notebook 1.65 ghz Dual core amd E-450 8gb Patriot Ram DDR3 Discrete Gpu Hd6320 dedicated ram 1973 mb 15.5 screen |
