Occasionally dots are visible on my display

    Hi,

I have a very big problem with my display. Occasionally different colored dots are visible on my display in different places. They are like this:
It isn't because of the cables, or the display, as when I click next to them, they disappear. So I guess it is about the Graphic Card. Type: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series.

    Could you help me?

Do the dots move when you scroll the screen or are they stationary? Have you updated the drivers? Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7 If they move around it's possibly bad video ram Diagnose video card problems by comparing with example corrupted screens A few things to do before panicking is to run memtest Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic The first article has a few suggestions to possibly get some more life out of the card....

If you have ever had the heatsink off you didnt lose any of the thermal pads? A good cleaning might help if it's heat related:)

Yes they move when I scroll. At the moment I am downloading the latest driver, so we will see it.
Thank you for notifying we about the driver, because the software didn't say that there is a newer version. However, it would be its task.
