Brookdale-G graphics chip accelerated vga BIos only 640x480

Hello I are school has some old Gateway e4000 computers. The problem I'm having loading them is the video card. The only resolution is 640x480. I've tried to see if windows update would find the driver but it doesn't. So dose anyone know if a xp driver would work or anything else. It would really save are school lots of money if I can find out how to fix this problem.

Looking at how old those things are, yes you're going to have to use XP drivers for them. May have to use http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html to get them to install, but they should work. Just don't expect Aero to work on them.

Okay I'll try that tomorrow and see of that works. It doesn't really matter if Aero works. Kids use them for Internet anymore.

I tried that this morning and still won't let me change the resolution. Any more ideas?
